Free QR Code Scanner and Image Decoder

Upload, drag, or paste QR code screenshots and photos, or scan with your camera. Decode multiple images together and export the results as CSV without sending the images to our server.

Decode QR images without uploading them

The scanner reads the image locally in your browser. You can use a screenshot, a saved photo, a pasted clipboard image, or a live camera view. The decoded text is shown before you choose whether to copy it or open a recognized link.

How to get a reliable scan

Use a sharp image that includes the complete QR code and the clear border around it. Avoid glare, heavy perspective distortion, aggressive cropping, and very small compressed images. If one image fails, try the original file or a closer, front-facing photo.

Decode several QR codes together

Select multiple image files in one upload to build a batch result list. Each result keeps its source filename and detected content type. You can copy individual values, open recognized web links, or export the full list as a CSV file.

Check unfamiliar links before opening

A QR code can contain any destination. Review the decoded domain and path before opening a code from an unknown source, and do not enter passwords or payment details on a destination you do not trust.

Frequently asked questions

How do I scan a QR code from an image?

Upload, drag, or paste the image into the scanner. The decoded text or link appears immediately and can be copied or exported.

Are uploaded QR images stored?

No. Image decoding happens locally in your browser, so the image is not uploaded to our server.
