Scan a QR Code from a Screenshot on PC or Mac
Read a QR screenshot on your computer without a phone or webcam. Paste, drop or select an image to extract its link or text locally, then copy the result.
Extract the link from the screenshot already on your computer
Capture the complete code in a webpage, poster or document. The scanner reads the encoded value and shows it for review before you open a link.
Capture the whole code
Keep the clear border. Prefer the original image when a code is tiny; enlarging a blurry screenshot cannot restore missing detail.
Use your computer screenshot tool
On Windows or macOS, capture the complete code and its clear border, then save or copy the image. The browser scanner needs the image; a screenshot of a login prompt without a standard QR code cannot provide a decoded link.
Paste, drop or select the image
Click the image area and paste with Ctrl+V or ⌘V, drag in a PNG, JPG, WEBP or GIF, or select a file. No camera is required.
Copy the URL or text
Review the decoded result, then copy it. Ordinary web links can be opened by choice; Wi-Fi, contact and other payloads are displayed as data.
Troubleshoot an unread screenshot
Try a sharper original without glare, severe tilt or cropped edges. Crop separate codes into individual pictures; one code is read per image.
Frequently asked questions
Does it read app-specific codes?
Standard QR codes can be decoded. App-specific links may require their original app; proprietary mini-program symbols are not guaranteed.
Will it open the URL automatically?
No. Review the result first and choose whether to open an unfamiliar destination.
Do I need a webcam?
No. Select, drop or paste an image to read a screenshot.
How do I put many screenshot results in a spreadsheet?
Use the batch QR image scanner to decode up to 50 images, check failed files and export successful rows as CSV. CSV can be imported in Excel; it is not a direct XLSX download.
